Ode to the jager Bomb!

What the hell is a jager bomb I hear you looking preplexed! Its a pint of red bull with a shot glass of jager, as you can see above. I was introduced too these in NZ. In the globe bar in auckland. I think rightly by this lass! Alexa would be her name, my 2 weeks in auckland was about trying a whole lot of new things. I ended up asking her to give me something I'd never had before. I think the next few days, I'd tried numerous different types of drinks. But the jagerbomb held its place at the top. Roughly 10 bucks kiwi a show.. and you bang it down fast!

I ended up in rotura, with the mad bugger freddie! Where we just did rounds after rounds of jagerbombs.. I tell you that stuff can seriously hurt your insides. Somehow me and freddy ended up in wellington, going at it 2 days straight.. Well I was awake for a whole 2 days! Pulled a bird as well, which may of just kept me going for that long too. I hit the third day, my body was shakin and twitchin from the huge amounts of caffine and other nasty stuff in red bull. I'd been caffine free for many years before this.. I staggered up too the bar, all my companions and friends, dead, asleep and worn out.. I was the last, I told them of my plight and the need for something to knock me out! The bartenders, mixed up some strong foul mixture of brew and I sculled it too their surprize.. 10 mins later, I was passed out and sleeping for 12hours.

Its till this very day, I have that nervious twitch whenever I walk passed an ad for red bull or jagermeister.. but it brings back cloudy memories of the maddness I had in NZ.


Edit: I introduced this drink at a few bars in melbourne, actually surprized some of them had never heard of it.. They ended up giving me a few free rounds for showing them a new drink.
